Sally has over 35 years of experience in special education. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Special Education, and received her Masters of Education in Special Education at the University of Minnesota. Licensure areas of emphasis are DCD (Developmental Cognitive Delay) and Physical/Health Disabilities, providing support to teams and students served under the areas of Physically Impaired, Other Health Disabilities, and Traumatic Brain Injury. Sally has been a classroom teacher in special education as well as a long-time itinerant teacher, serving students with physical/health disabilities from Early Childhood through age 21/Transition. She retired from full time teaching in 2018 and is dedicated to helping support students with disabilities to become functionally independent and successful.
